If Pacquiao uses his great footwork to keep Matthysse on the outside, while attacking at angles on Matthysse, then Pacquiao will beat Matthysse easy.
If Matthysse, however, can use his relentless pressure to force Pacquiao to fight fire with fire, then Matthysse will have a huge change to win this fight. By the way, this is the only chance Matthysse has to win this fight. Manny Pacquiao just needs to stay on the outside, use his angles, box, and discourage Matthysse. Pacquiao can outbox Matthysse. Matthysse can hurt Pacquiao and possibly knock Pacquiao out if he can catch Pacquiao with something big on the inside.
So, who wins? Pacquiao is getting older so he should use his experience and skills will overcome the relentless attack that Matthysse will bring to the table. It’s going to be a great fight, but in the end, Pacquiao should prevail even without the services of All-time Great Trainer Freddie Roach.
