Isaac Dogboe did not waste any time proving to the boxing world that he is one of the best fighters at junior featherweight. Heading into the August 25, 2018, fight against Hidenori Otake, Dogboe vowed that he would knockout Otake. Did not know, however, that the plan for knocking out Otake was as explosive as it was. Dogboe treated the Gila River Arena boxing crowd to a short, jaw-dropping 1st round stoppage. In the 1st round, Dogboe came out and landed a vicious left-hook on Otake that sent him crashing to the canvas.
Otake got up from the left-hook. As round 1 continued, Dogboe landed another big left-hook on Otake that wowed the boxing crowd. Dogboe followed up the left-hook with a right-hook to the body and another left-hook over the top. Otake had the back up again. Dogboe finished off Otake with a vicious 7-punch combination that caused the referee to step in and stop the fight. Isaac ‘Brave Son’ Dogboe was awarded the 1st round TKO victory, thus retaining his WBO junior featherweight title.
Conclusion
Isaac ‘Brave Son’ Dogboe is going to be a force in the junior featherweight division! Whoever must deal with Dogboe is the future better watch out because the fighter is starving to be one of the best in the world.
