Canelo Alvarez vs. David Lemieux in December? Well that is the rumor mill going around right now in boxing arenas. If so, Canelo is not wasting any time giving the boxing world exciting must see action as the new middleweight king. Hard-punching David Lemieux is not a walk in the park for anyone. In saying that, however, Lemieux does have difficulties with fighters who can box. Canelo can box.

Lemieux is coming off a spectacular 1st round knockout victory of Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan. Probably the knockout of the year. That fight took place on the Canelo vs. GGG2 Pay-Per-View event. The Lemieux knockout of O’Sullivan did not trump the great fight that Canelo and GGG put on this past Saturday night, but it did, however, spark interest as to when you want to see the hard-punching Lemieux in action again.
Fast-forward to December 2018. If Canelo vs. Lemieux does take place in December, this will be another good name that Canelo will attempt to put his cap. Lemieux will not be easy, but Canelo vs. Lemieux will be a great stocking stuffer for Boxing Fans in December if it happens.
