Last Saturday night, IBF junior lightweight champion Tevin Farmer is coming off an impressive 5th round knockout victory over James ‘The Assassin’ Tennyson. Now ‘The American Idol’ has his eyes set on WBA junior lightweight champion Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis. Farmer has been calling out Davis for a while now. In the calling out, Davis said to Farmer get a title and then we can talk. Well, Farmer has a title and has defended it.

With that said, a potential WBA/IBF junior lightweight unification fight may happen in 2019. Both Gervonta and Farmer has the potential to be great fighters.
