On December 8, 2018, after 45 years of boxing excellence, HBO Boxing will air its final show live from the StubHub Center in Carson, California. HBO Boxing’s finale will showcase the Women’s #1 Pound 4 Pound Fighter in the sport Cecilia ‘First Lady’ Braekhus.
Another one of Women’s Boxing’s best Claressa ‘T-Rex’ Shields will also be in action, along with junior bantamweight contender Juan Francisco Estrada. All the bouts are scheduled for 10 rounds. Should be a great night of action.
It will be a bitter-sweet feeling for the boxing world as we all must come to grips with knowing that after December 8, 2018, there will be no more HBO Boxing. HBO Boxing produced so many great fights!
