The Claressa ‘T-Rex’ Shields vs. Ivana Habazin vacant WBO Women’s junior middleweight title fight has been canceled. The reason for the cancellation, an unknown person sucker-punched Habazin’s trainer James Ali Bashir.
The rest of the undercard will air as scheduled on Showtime tonight at 9 PM EST. Shields was attempting to capture a world title in three weight divisions. Shield’s homecoming to Flint, Michigan, however, is derailed by a cowardly act from that unknown person.
It’s a shame because both fighters put in the work to give the boxing world a Women’s championship fight to remember. You also have to feel for the boxing fans in Flint, Michigan because they were ready to see their hometown hero attempt a spectacular accomplishment. Thoughts Boxing World?

My favorite guy right is Errol Spence, Jr. He had some difficulty in his last fight, but he probably will not run into another fighter as aggressive as Shawn Porter.
