Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller was scheduled to fight Jerry ‘Slugger’ Forrest on July 9, 2020. This fight was canceled, however, due to Miller failing his drug test in the lead up to the fight. Now this is the 3rd time that Miller has failed a drug test due to Performance Enhancement Drugs (PEDS.)

Boxing is already a dangerous sport and for Miller to be caught for the 3rd time failing a drug test raises the question should he be banned from the sport of boxing for good. Miller stated that he never knowingly took PEDS. Even if that is the case, it is the fighter’s responsibility to know what he or she is putting into their bodies.
On to Tyson Fury. Negotiations for a 3rd fight between ‘The Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury and ‘The Bronze Bomber’ Deontay Wilder are on the way. The target date for Fury vs. Wilder 3 is December 19, 2020, and the new Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada is the target location.
Fury defeated Wilder in their rematch back on February 22 of this year.
In the rematch, however, there is a video circulating that shows Fury’s boxing gloves having padding removed. Also, it shows Fury throwing a punch and you can see his knuckles showing threw the glove.
Not sure if Fury’s boxing gloves from the Wilder rematch are getting investigated, but after seeing the video, it should. Again, boxing is already dangerous, and if a fighter is using PEDS or removing padding from their boxing gloves, they should be either suspended or banned from boxing.
The consequence should be based on the number of offenses. If the offense is multiple times, a fighter should be banned. Using PEDS, removing padding from boxing gloves, or any type of unfair advantage should not only be deemed as cheating but also criminal.
Fighters can die in the ring, and having an unfair advantage heightens the presence of death in a fight. So, Boxing World. Jarrell Miller has failed a 3rd drug test, and Tyson Fury, though his case is still up in the air, has a video circulating that shows padding removed from his boxing gloves.
Now we know Miller is guilty, but if Fury’s case is investigated and it is found that Fury was cheating, should Miller and Fury be banned from the sport of boxing? Remember, this is not the first time that Fury was accused of having padding removed from his boxing gloves heading into a fight.
