The Gervonta Davis vs. Leo Santa Cruz WBA lightweight and WBA junior lightweight unification title fight scheduled for October 24, 2020, has been moved. Not only has the fight date been moved, but the location as well.

WBA lightweight champ Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis and WBA junior lightweight champ Leo Santa Cruz were all set to fight at the Mohegan Sun Casino Bubble. That fight was scheduled for October 24, 2020. Now Davis vs. Santa Cruz has been moved to October 31, 2020, and will take place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
The move from the Mohegan Sun Casino Bubble to the Alamodome should benefit Davis and Santa Cruz. This fight will mark the first time since COVID-19 started that fans will be in attendance at a combat sports event. The number of fans that will be allowed to attend the fight has not yet been determined.
Showtime Pay-Per-View will still air this fantastic fight on Halloween.
