This past Saturday night, Errol ‘The Truth’ Spence, Jr. proved to the boxing world that the serious car crash he suffered back in 2019 had no effects on his boxing game. Spence put on a great performance as he used his great jab, and punishing bodywork to overwhelm Danny ‘Swift’ Garcia.

Garcia was trying to time Spence with his left hook the entire night but was unable to. Spence was too crafty and just outworked Garcia. When the dust settled, Spence was awarded the 12th round unanimous decision victory.

With the win, he retained his WBC and IBF welterweight titles. The entire boxing world was waiting to see how would Errol Spence, Jr. look once he returned to the boxing ring. How would he take a punch? Can he take a punch? Would he have ring rust?

Well, Spence answered all of those questions on December 5, 2020. He had a little ring rust, but he can take a punch as Garcia landed some good shots on him to get him back into the swing of things. So, what’s next for Errol ‘The Truth’ Spence, Jr.?
