This past Saturday night, Jermall ‘Hitman’ Charlo cruised to a 12th round unanimous decision victory over Juan Marcias Montiel. As a result, Charlo retained his WBC middleweight title. In the fight, it was clear that Charlo was the more skilled fighter, but Montiel did not go away easy.

Charlo was winning almost every round, but Montiel did not let him rest at no point in the fight. It was a great fight because even though Charlo cruised, his face showed the effects of the relentless Montiel. Nevertheless, Charlo showed once again why he is continuing to rise as one of the best fighters in the sport.
