‘The Dream’ Devin Haney found himself in the biggest test of his professional boxing career against Vasiliy ‘Hi-Tech’ Lomachenko. Haney did a great job stacking up the early rounds by using a good job and investing hard shots to Lomachenko’s ribcage. Lomachenko stormed back in the late rounds. He used effective aggression and combination punching on Haney.

The combination punching by Lomachenko had Haney in serious trouble in the 11th round. Haney, however, weathered the storm and finished the fight strong. This instant classic undisputed lightweight title fight would go to the judges’ scorecards. Two of the judges scored the bout 115-113. The other judge scored the bout 116-112, all for the winner and still the undisputed lightweight champion, Devin ‘The Dream’ Haney.
After the decision, the MGM Grand boxing crowd erupted in an uproar as many boxing fans felt Lomachenko did enough to win the fight. Some boxing fans were even saying that Lomachenko got robbed. In a close fight, there is no way you can claim a fighter got robbed. Another conversation for another day. Anyway, Haney is still undisputed. Who should Haney fight next?
