Check out Potshot Boxing’s (PSB) Prediction for the upcoming WBO super middleweight championship fight between Arthur Abraham and Paul Smith.
Check out these 5 step to looking 10 years younger!
Paul Smith will finally get a shot at a legitimate championship strap when he face off against “King” Arthur Abraham on September 27, 2014. Smith has won and lost some international world titles, but this will be his first shot at some true boxing gold.

Arthur Abraham will be putting his WBO super middleweight championship up for grabs in this potential barn-burner championship fight. This fight will be held in Abraham’s native country of Germany.
Smith is coming off an impressive 2nd round TKO victory over David Sarabia. Abraham is coming off a 12 round unanimous decision victory over Nikola Sjekloca. I expect for this fight to be one of those give and take kind of showdowns.
Both fighters like to box and lead with high guards so it will be difficult in my opinion for either fighter to get their offense going early on. Smith is the more aggressive of the 2 fighters and I expect him to try and take control of the fight with his mild aggression.
Abraham on the other hand, likes to start off using his right jab while moving forward to in hopes of landing some good body and heads shots on his opponents, but then he starts to use his high guard to allow his opponents to get inside and wing shots on him. It’s strange to see, but that is what usually happens in an Arthur Abraham fight.
I expect for this fight to heat up in the middle rounds as both fighters usually start to press forward behind their high guard so the real question is simply which fighter will survive the other fighter’s mild aggression. Also, which fighter will win the counterpunching game in this fight?
Abraham has gone the distance in his last 4 fights, while Smith has knocked out 2 of his last 4 opponents. So who wins? I believe that this is going to be a really good fight, but here is an eye-opening stat Boxing World; in Smith’s 3 losses, he has been knocked out in his last 2. I think that Abraham will do what he needs to do to win this fight and hold on to that WBO super middleweight strap so I am going to go with the odds and say it will be by knockout.
Prediction: Arthur Abraham by Knockout
