Wilder got up from the knockdown, but he was still on shaky legs. As a result, the referee stopped the fight, and Zhang got the 5th round TKO victory. In the last five years, Wilder has been in brutal wars. In his last six fights, Wilder has lost four of them.

He got brutally knocked out by ‘The Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury in their trilogy fight in October of 2021. Now, he has suffered another brutal stoppage from Zhang. The brutal knockouts Wilder is taking are starting to add up.

Wilder has given the boxing world epic knockouts during his professional boxing career. If this will be his last fight, he certainly will be missed. Should Wilder retire after getting stopped by Zhang, Boxing World? Check out Potshot Boxing’s (PSB) latest boxing poll and vote!
