On April 20, 2024, ‘King Ry’ Ryan Garcia beat WBC junior welterweight champion Devin ‘The Dream’ Haney in what boxing fans saw as a beating he gave to Haney. Turns out Ryan Garcia tested positive for PEDs. As a result, the New York State Athletic Commission has determined that Ryan Garcia will get suspended for one year.

The reason for Garcia’s suspension is due to his testing positive for the performing enhancement drug “Ostarine.” As a result of Garcia’s suspension, Garcia’s victory against Haney was overturned and changed to a no-contest. With that said, Devin Haney is an undefeated fighter again.
