The MGM National Harbor just opened its doors to the public almost 2 months ago, on December 8, 2016, and has already landed its first great fight. Vasyl ‘Hi-Tech’ Lomachenko is already considered one of the best fighters in the sport of Boxing, and he looks to continue his rise to the sport as his steps will lead him into the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland on April 8, 2017.

The slick, “Hi-Tech” Loma, will be putting his WBO junior lightweight title on the line against a gamed fighter in Jason ‘El Canito’ Sosa. HBO Championship Boxing will the first network to showcase a big boxing extravaganza at the MGM National Harbor.
What a great fight to choose to headline at the beautiful MGM National Harbor that overlooks the Potomac River. Does Sosa have the juice to give Lomachenko a run for his money? Not sure, but it is great to see boxing in the D.C. area again.
