Robert Easter, Jr. was involved in one of the best fights of 2016 when he battled Richard Commey to capture the vacant IBF lightweight title. Now Easter will be making the first defense of his IBF lightweight crown against Luis ‘El Artesano’ Cruz.
Not sure if Cruz will be a surefire threat for Easter. The Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio, however, will still be rocking for their hometown hero come February 10, 2017.
Easter and Cruz weigh-in under the 135 pound limit and are ready to clash on February 10, 2017. Let’s just hope that Easter and Cruz can produce the same kind of music that Easter and Commey produced in 2016.
