After letting effective pressure get the best of him yet again, Adrien ‘The Problem’ Broner (30-2-0, 22 KOs), will dusk off another loss and attempt to capture the vacant WBA junior welterweight title in front of his hometown crowd at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. Broner’s opponent is Khabib ‘The Hawk’ Allakhverdiev.
Broner is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Shawn ‘Showtime’ Porter and Allakhverdiev is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Jesse Vargas so both fighters will be looking to get back on the winning track on October 3, 2015.

Allakhverdiev is also coming off of a year and a half layoff, but the one thing he has going on for him in this fight with Broner is he’s a southpaw which could give Broner some trouble on October 3. This fight is simple to breakdown because I expect for Allakhverdiev to come out and apply pressure to Broner to test whether or not Broner has learned how to deal with unbelievable pressure.
I expect for Broner to use his quickness in this fight to try and overwhelm Allakhverdiev with accurate counterpunching. Allakhverdiev has been getting some pointers from the great Roy Jones, Jr. so I am sure that Jones’ advice will show up in the ring for Allakhverdiev on fight night.
So, who wins?
Well, for the reminder of Adrien Broner’s professional boxing career, the question will remain as to whether or not he can handle pressure and not wilt down the stretch in fights. Will Adrien Broner suck it up in this fight, deal with Allakhverdiev’s pressure, and win the vacant WBA junior welterweight title in the process?
Boxing World, I must admit, I will not be surprised if Broner’s mouth performs better than his hands on October 3, 2015, but for now if I have to pick someone in this tossup fight, I am going to go with Adrien ‘The Problem’ Broner.
Prediction: Adrien ‘The Problem’ Broner by Unanimous Decision
