The time is one day away! The rematch for not only light-heavyweight supremacy, but for pound 4 pound supremacy. Andre Ward vs. Sergey Kovalev 2 for Ward’s WBA, WBO, and IBF light-heavyweight titles.
We are going to be in for another great fight between 2 of the best fighters in the world. Kovalev is on serious mission to prove that Ward’s victory over him was a fluke last November. Ward on the hand, will set out to prove to the boxing world that he is by far the best fighter in the sport of Boxing.

The question for this fight is simply which fighter made the correct adjustments. If there is any fighter I would give that edge to for making adjustments it is Andre ‘S.O.G.’ Ward. I expect for Kovalev to be in much better shape than he was in the 1st fight, which will make him dangerous throughout.
Kovalev will continue to use that great left jab in hopes of landing that ‘Krusher’ straight right to end the night for Ward. I expect for Ward, however, to be more aware of that right hand of Kovalev’s and use the opportunity to slip inside and punish Kovalev’s body.
This is my kind of fight because we are going to see another chess match. The Boxing IQs of these 2 great fighters are through the roof. Boxing is a thinking man’s sport, and these 2 fighters are 2 of the best at it.
So, who wins? Kovalev is going to do everything in his power to not leave it in the judges’ hands. With that said, I believe Kovalev will be even more aggressive in this fight which could be a mistake on his part, (not to mention, he may not even be listening to what John David Jackson has to say to him in the corner between rounds.)
In the end, Andre ‘S.O.G.’ Ward will be the fighter who have made the better adjustments by taking away Kovalev’s right hand, tying the relentless Kovalev up when he needs to, and bangin’ Kovalev’s body at every turn in this fight in hopes of testing Kovalev’s stamina.
Ward and Kovalev have seen this picture before, but it will be Ward that will prove to the boxing world that he is head and shoulders above the rest of the boxing world. (Freakin’ Lomachenko…LOL!)
