After 10 long years of dominating the featherweight division, Perth, Australia saw the unthinkable happen: Chris John actually losing a fight.
Chris John retired on his stool at the end of the sixth round, thus, South African Simpiwe Vetyeka was awarded the 6th round RTD victory which results as the first loss in Chris John’s professional boxing career. Vetyeka is now the new WBA(Super) featherweight champion.
