On November 17, 2018, Women’s Boxing Sensation Claressa ‘T-Rex’ Shields will be stepping into the ring against Hannah Rankin. Rankin will be a tough test for Shields. To the victor, the WBA, IBF, and vacant WBC women’s middleweight titles await. Can Rankin catch the fast and aggressive Shields with a counter shot that stops Shields in her tracks? Shields is going to stalk Rankin every second of this fight. With that said, it may be a long night for Rankin.

Shields will be looking to put on another great performance in front of the Kansas Star Arena boxing crowd. With a win, Shields will be setting herself up for some great fights in the future. Perhaps a fight with undefeated WBO women’s middleweight champ Christina Hammer. Maybe even a fight in the future with the Women’s #1 Pound 4 Pound Fighter in the sport Cecilia ‘First Lady’ Braekhus.
Now a fight between Braekhus is highly unlikely for Shields given the weight, but there has been some talk going on in boxing rumorville that a potential fight between Shields and Braekhus could happen. If made, that fight would have to be a catchweight fight. Nevertheless, Shields’ continued road to be the best women’s fighter in the sport is back on track November 17, 2018, against Hannah Rankin.
