The March 11, 2017, middleweight fight between David Lemieux and Curtis Stevens will definitely be a shoot ‘em up, bang bang kind of fight. Fist will be flying from all types of angles as both of these fighters are not shy when it comes to banging.

Lemieux is a big power puncher. Stevens is a big power puncher. Both of these fighters will head into the Turning Stone Resort & Casino to take each other’s heads off! Which fighter has the better jab? That one component may be the difference in who wins and who will get knocked out.
Oh yes, Boxing World, someone is going to get knocked out! Lemieux is the stronger guy, but Stevens have the reach advantage. If Stevens wants to upset Lemieux, he is going to need to take a page from Gennady ‘GGG’ Golovkin’s boxing playbook and jab, jab, jab.
Stevens, however, cannot help himself from getting into a shootout, and that is going to play right into Lemieux hands. I expect for Stevens to try and use his jab to set up big shots on Lemieux, but as the fight moves on, Stevens will brawl and then fall.
