Andre ‘S.O.G.’ Ward and ‘The Pride of Wales’ Joe Calzaghe dominated the super-middleweight division in their boxing eras. Both fighters ended their professional boxing careers undefeated. Heck, Andre Ward has not lost a fight since he was a teenager.

During his dominance at super-middleweight, Joe Calzaghe defended his WBO super-middleweight title for a record ten years before giving up the title to move up to light-heavyweight. Andre Ward, on the other hand, dominated the super-middleweight division during “The Super Six World Boxing Classic.”
The Super Six World Boxing Classic was a super-middleweight tournament that consisted of the best super-middleweights of Andre Ward’s era. The tournament began in 2009 and ended in 2011 with Andre Ward winning. There were a lot of great fighters in the Super Six tournament, and Ward used his great boxer-puncher skills to dominant the tournament.
After the tournament, Ward went on to continue his dominance at super-middleweight and finished his professional boxing career by winning world titles at light-heavyweight.
Ward and Calzaghe are now both members of the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Ward was great during his super-middleweight reign, and so was Calzaghe.
