The Errol Spence, Jr. vs. Shawn Porter IBF/WBC welterweight unification title fight is going to be great. Spence proved to the boxing world in his last fight with Mikey Garcia that he can box as well as brawl. Porter had a little difficulty with the slick Yordenis Ugas in his last fight; however, he was able to escape with a 12th round split-decision victory.

Porter only has one way to win this fight and that is to make the fight a brawl. If Porter decides to box with Spence, then Spence may get that chance to stop Porter. Porter needs to use his controlled aggression to fight Spence in spots while working on the inside to smother Spence’s offense.
Look for Spence to come out boxing at first by using his jab while targeting Porter’s body. As the fight moves on, expect for Spence to continue to use his jab, cut off the ring, and try to walk down Porter to inflict serious punishment on him. This will not be easy for Spence as Porter will be smart in the ring come September 28.
Both fighters always show great stamina so expect for this fight to be exciting to the final bell. So who wins? Spence stated that he is looking to stop Porter. Porter stated that he is looking to stop Spence. There will be a clear cut winner come September 28, but both of these fighters are too tough and too skilled to be stopped.
