Errol Spence, Jr. reportedly has exercised the rematch clause to face Terrence Crawford. On July 29, 2023, Crawford dominated Spence in the first fight to become the undisputed welterweight champion. Crawford’s victory was so lopsided that most boxing fans feel the rematch should not happen.

The Terence Crawford vs. Errol Spence, Jr. rematch will likely be at 154 pounds. As a result, this should allow Spence to put on a better showing in the rematch. With that said Crawford will be a big favorite heading into the rematch, given how badly he beat Spence in the first fight.
