Andre ‘S.O.G.’ Ward cemented his status as the best Pound 4 Pound fighter in the sport last Saturday night with his 8th round stoppage of Sergey ‘Krusher’ Kovalev. Ward did his homework in this rematch by taking away the straight right hand of Kovalev and destroyed him to the body with hard power shots.

Now, the stoppage victory for Ward was controversial due to him hitting Kovalev on the beltline, thus, giving Kovalev fans all the excuses in the world to state that Ward fouled his way to a victory. Anyway, Ward put on a great performance and deserves to be called Boxing’s #1 Pound 4 Pound fighter in the sport.
The controversial stoppage may produce a 3rd fight between these 2 great fighters, but it will just be another one-sided show by Andre Ward. With that said, where is Andre ‘S.O.G.’ Ward listed on your Pound 4 Pound List?
