The Jamel Herring vs. Jonathan Oquendo fight was scheduled to take place on July 2, 2020. The fight has now been postponed due to Herring announcing that he tested positive for COVID-19.
Herring was looking to defend his WBO junior lightweight title against Oquendo. Testing positive for COVID-19, however, Herring will have to put his title defense on hold.
This fight was be scheduled at a later date.
