Jerwin ‘Pretty Boy’ Ancajas was set to make his 8th title defense of the IBF junior Bantamweight title but his opponent Jonathan Rodriguez was unable to make the trip. Rodriguez’s trip to the US was stalled because he did not possess a VISA in time to enter into the US.
As a result, the November 2, 2019, Ancajas vs. Rodriguez IBF junior bantamweight title fight has been canceled. This fight may get rescheduled for a later date or Ancajas will move on to other avenues. This fight was expected to be action-packed for the boxing world. Too bad a VISA is standing in the way of such a great boxing treat.
