Andrzej Fonfara’s beating of Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. topped the great night of boxing because a lot of boxing fans did not expect to see a Chavez quit on their stool. The Great Julio Cesar Chavez told his son beforehand not to take the fight with Fonfara, well, I think Chavez, Jr. should have listened to his father because he just got blasted by Fonfara!

Terence Crawford started off slow in his fight with Thomas Dulorme, but he got it together and showed the boxing world why he is going to be one of the best fighters in the world for years to come.
In the Lucas Matthysse/Ruslan Provodnikov fight, Matthysse dominated Provodnikov with good jabs, crosses, and uppercuts to the head, however, Matthysse did not invest enough to Provodnikov’s body to put him away. Matthysse’s lack of body work allowed Provodnikov to get back into the fight with some devastating hooks that rocked Matthysse late.
Provodnikov was busted up with swollen eyes, but he gave it all he could to comeback miraculously to try and win the fight. He came close, but Matthysse mixed in a couple of body shots late to seal the deal for himself.

Terence “Bud” Crawford defeated Thomas Dulorme by 6th round TKO victory to capture the vacant WBO junior welterweight title.
Lucas Matthysse defeated Ruslan Provodnikov by 12th round majority decision.
