The Premier Boxing Champions Series (PBC) rolls on in July as this time it is ESPN that will showcase the popular boxing series. On July 11, 2015, Keith “One Time” Thurman will once again be the headliner for the PBC boxing series when he steps into the ring against the very tough Luis Collazo.

The USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida will be treated to a great fight on July 11 as Keith Thurman finds himself pitted against yet another aggressive warrior in Luis Collazo. I expect for Thurman to do a little more boxing in this fight just as he had to do in his last fight against Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero given how aggressive Guerrero proved to be against him.
Collazo will bring the pressure to Thurman in this fight just as Guerrero brought it to him so can Thurman outlast the pressure of Collazo en route to getting his name put into the mix of a big fight in the near future?
I expect for Thurman to be smarter in this fight with Collazo by boxing Collazo and allowing him to be the aggressor in hopes of landing that “One Time” counter shot on Collazo. Now don’t get me wrong, Thurman will bring the heat to Collazo as well in the fight, but when you have two aggressive fighters in the ring against each other, usually the fighter who boxes the best wins the fight and I expect for Thurman to win the boxing game.
So, does Collazo have a chance in this fight? I feel he does because of his aggressive style, but that’s the only chance I give him against Thurman given that it is proven that Thurman sometimes wither down the stretch in fights. With the said, if this fight goes into deep waters, anything can happen.
Remember, Collazo is a pretty good puncher so he can end Thurman’s night with one punch himself if this fight goes past 10 rounds. Look, at the end of the day, Collazo is aggressive, and Thurman is aggressive so it just boils down to which fighter will box better and have the better controlled aggression, and for Me, I feel Thurman will be that guy on July 11, 2015.
