Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford becomes the undisputed junior welterweight champion of the world in the most impressive fashion a fighter can win by, KO to the body! In the 1st round, Crawford collected his data as usual as he started to touch Julius Indongo with counterpunches.
In the 2nd round, Crawford stepped up the pace a little and took advantage of Indongo’s wild swinging which led to a calculating knockdown. Crawford caught Indongo with a right hand shot to the body, followed by a left hook to the head that sent Indongo down to the canvas.
As round 2 concluded, Crawford tried to finish Indongo in the 2nd, but simply ran of time. The 3rd round would be a charm, as Crawford caught Indongo with the most vicious left hook of the year. Indongo went straight to the canvas and did not get up.
The referee stopped the fight, and Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford was awarded the 3rd round KO victory. Crawford is now the undisputed junior welterweight champion of the world! (WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF.)
Conclusion
Julius ‘Blue Machine’ Indongo is a very good fighter and Crawford steamrolled him. I did not realize how awkward and wild Indongo was. It cost him his titles because Crawford took advantage of his swinging for the fences mentality.
Crawford’s switch-hitting boxing style will continue to be crowd-pleasing and I cannot wait to see who he is going to fight next after he goes fishing! So where is Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford on your Pound 4 Pound List Boxing World
