The last time Manny ‘PacMan’ Pacquiao was in the ring was back in July of 2019. In that fight, he faced off against the undefeated WBA welterweight champion Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman. Pacquiao used his great movement, speed, and pressure to earn a split-decision victory over Thurman.

Now, Keith Thurman is one of the best welterweights in the world, and Pacquiao at age 40 beat him. Now Pacquiao is looking to return to the ring on June 5. The opponent he may be facing is arguably the best fighter in the sport, WBO welterweight champion Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford.
In Crawford’s last fight, he dismantled ‘Special K’ Kell Brook in 4 rounds. That fight took place back in November of 2020. Now Terence Crawford vs. Manny Pacquiao is looming. Crawford will clearly be the favorite heading into a welterweight showdown with Pacquiao. Pacquiao, however, will have a chance to win this fight. Stay tuned to see if this fight becomes official.
