The great Manny Pacquiao will look to re-capture the WBO welterweight title when he faces off against undefeated WBO champion Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley.
This much anticipated rematch will take place on April 12, 2014, at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Bradley is coming off of the best boxing performance of his career when he beat the great Juan Manuel Marquez in October of 2013, while Pacquiao returned to the ring in December of 2013 after his shocking knockout loss to the great Juan Manuel Marquez to beat up Brandon Rios.
In Pacquiao and Bradley’s first meeting back in June of 2012, Bradley was awarded a split-decision victory over Pacquiao to capture the PacMan’s WBO welterweight title. Most boxing fans and experts around the world felt that Manny Pacquiao got robbed and clearly won the fight, so this is Bradley’s opportunity to show the boxing world on April 12 that 2 years ago was not a fluke.
Pacquiao on the other hand, will have a huge opportunity to not only re-capture the WBO welterweight title and avenge his loss to Bradley, but prove to the boxing world that he is still the only dance partner fitting to challenge Floyd Mayweather for pound for pound supremacy.
What a great fight this can potentially turn out to be as both fighters have something to prove going into this fight. Looking forward to watching this fight!!
