‘The Gypsy King’ Tyson fury used his good jab and footwork to outclass Francesco Pianeta for 10 rounds. The Windsor Park boxing crowd was treated to an all-out Tyson Fury exhibition. Pianeta just did not present any threat to Fury except for being a Southpaw. The fight went to the judges’ scorecards and ‘The Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury was awarded the 10th round unanimous decision victory. It was the easiest fight to score in 2018.
After the fight, Deontay Wilder stepped into the ring in front of the Windsor Park boxing crowd in Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom and announced that a Wilder vs. Fury fight will happen. Fury’s promoter Frank Warren said that the fight date and location will be announced next week. Fury let the cat out of the bag on the location, however, as he named Las Vegas as the location in a heated exchange of words with Wilder.
Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury should make for a great fight! Tyson looked great in the ring on Saturday, August 18, 2018. He does need to work on keeping his hands high though as he drops his hands a little too much. Wilder will be able to take advantage of Fury’s dropped hands if Fury does not clean it up by the time they fight. It will be Boxing vs. Brawling in the Wilder vs. Fury fight. Cannot wait to see when this fight will happen!
