Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis showed the boxing world why he is the most exciting fighter to watch in boxing today. He scored an 8th-round knockout of ‘The Ghost’ Frank Martin last Saturday night. Martin did a great job boxing Davis, but Davis applied effective pressure that later paid off en route to the knockout.

In round 8, Davis stalked Martin, backed him into a corner, and landed a right uppercut followed by a left hook that sent Martin crashing to the canvas. Martin did not get up, and Davis got the 8th-round knockout victory to retain his WBA lightweight title.
