Where do you rank Manny Pacquiao all-time?

This past Saturday night, Manny Pacquiao showed the boxing world once again why he is one of the best fighters of all-time. Pacquiao had a young great champion standing in front of him and he found a way to get the victory. Pacquiao vs. Thurman will not be a candidate for 2019 Fight of the Year, but it will be one of the most talked-about fights of the year.

Pacquiao knocked Thurman down in the first round of this fight. As the fight continued, Pacquiao continued to control the early rounds with his great side to side movement and fast punches. Thurman came on strong in the late rounds and even ended up landing more punches than Pacquiao in the fight.

When it came to the scorecards, however, the bout was scored in favor of the New WBA welterweight champion of the world Manny ‘PacMan’ Pacquiao. After the fight, there were a lot of people who felt that Thurman won the fight based on him landing more punches than Pacquiao.

That’s a good argument; however, Pacquiao did win a lot of the early rounds. Combine that with the knockdown in the first round; you cannot argue the split-decision victory for Manny Pacquiao. Thurman did not argue with the decision.

He thought he did enough to win, but he gave kudos to Pacquiao for getting the decision. The loss to Pacquiao was the first loss of Thurman’s professional boxing career. Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman is going to be a problem for whoever he faces in the welterweight division and will continue to be in the mix for big fights.

As for the great Manny Pacquiao, what’s next? The winner of Spence/Porter? The Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, Jr. rematch? How about Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford? Pacquiao will be a problem for those welterweights even at the age of 40.

Boxing World, after the great performance against Keith Thurman, where do you rank Manny Pacquiao all-time? Check out the boxing poll below and vote.
