The junior middleweight division in boxing is heating up as the championship belts in that division will soon be unified. On September 26, 2020, Jermell ‘Iron Man’ Charlo and Jeison ‘Banana Man’ Rosario will battle to see who will walk away as the unified WBC, WBA (Super), and IBF junior middleweight champion of the world.

Charlo vs. Rosario will take place at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut, and Showtime/ PBC Pay-Per-View will air this fight. This past Saturday night, crafty veteran ‘The American Dream’ Erislandy Lara cruised to a 12th round unanimous decision victory over Greg ‘The Villain’ Vendetti.
With the win over Vendetti, Lara retained his WBA (Regular) junior middleweight title and put himself in position to face the winner of Charlo vs. Rosario. Now Lara was once and still may be one of the best fighters in the junior middleweight division. Does Lara, however, have what it takes at age 37 to beat the winner of Charlo vs. Rosario?
Maybe the better question is who does Lara have a better chance of beating? Jermell Charlo or Jeison Rosario? Check out Potshot Boxing’s (PSB) latest boxing poll and vote.
