The past Saturday night, ‘The Soul Taker’ Tim Tszyu defeated Brian ‘La Bala’ Mendoza by 12th round unanimous decision to retain his WBO junior middleweight title. With the win, Tszyu continues to increase his status as one of the best junior-middleweights in boxing.
Jermell ‘Iron Man’ Charlo recently went to the super-middleweight division to challenge the super-middleweight king Canelo Alvarez on September 30. Charlo dared to be great, yet unsuccessful in dethroning Canelo from his super-middleweight king status.
Jermell Charlo is still considered the junior-middleweight king in boxing. Tim Tszyu is still starving for an opportunity to challenge Charlo for junior-middleweight supremacy. Charlo vs. Tszyu would be a great fight for all the marbles at junior-middleweight. Charlo vs. Tszyu is another fight that boxing needs.
