Current undisputed Women’s middleweight; and WBC and WBO Women’s junior middleweight champion Claressa ‘T-Rex’ Shields continues to make her case as to why she should be considered the Women’s #1 Pound 4 Pound fighter in the world. Shields recently made boxing history back on January 10, 2020, when she defeated Ivana Habazin.
With the win over Habazin, Shields became the fastest fighter, man or woman, to win world titles in 3 different weight classes. Another fighter who is getting Women’s #1 Pound 4 Pound consideration is undisputed Women’s lightweight champion Katie ‘The Bray Bomber’ Taylor.
Taylor unified the lightweight titles back on June 1, 2019, when she defeated another Women’s Pound 4 Pound superstar former WBC Women’s lightweight champion Delfine Persoon. Shields, Taylor, and Persoon all have the skills to be Women’s boxing #1 Pound 4 Pound fighter.
With that being said, is Cecilia Braekhus still the Women’s #1 Pound 4 Pound fighter on your list?
