The Great Manny ‘PacMan’ Pacquiao continues to amaze boxing fans by how he competes in the boxing ring and beat good world champions. Pacquiao’s last mesmerizing act came back on July 20, 2019, when he beat a good world champion in Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman to capture the WBA welterweight title. Thurman is one of the top welterweights in the division and Pacquiao, who is 10 years his elder, beat him convincingly.
Though Pacquiao was awarded the 12th round split-decision victory, there were a lot of boxing fans who felt that the decision should have been unanimous. Beating Thurman was a great win for Pacquiao as his legend continues to grow. At age 40, Pacquiao has put the welterweight division on notice. Every welterweight in the division is chomping at the bit to get in the ring with the Great PacMan as each welterweight feels that they will be the one that will put an end to Pacquiao’s career.
