Amanda Serrano found herself in another fight of the year candidate fight when she faced Erika Cruz on February 4, 2023. These two fighters gave the Hulu Theater boxing crowd a brawl for the ages. It was an all-action war between Serrano and Cruz.
In the end, Serrano scored the 10th round unanimous decision victory to become the new undisputed Women’s featherweight champion. The win by Serrano has now set up the most anticipated rematch with the undisputed Women’s lightweight champion Katie ‘The Bray Bomber’ Taylor.
Taylor vs. Serrano 2 will take place on May 20, 2023. The rematch will take place in Taylor’s backyard in Dublin, Ireland. The last time Taylor and Serrano were in the ring with each other, they produced the 2022 fight of the year. Many boxing experts felt that Serrano won the first fight.
It was Taylor, however, who got the nod as the winner of Taylor vs. Serrano 1. Who will win the rematch on May 20, 2023? Taylor or Serrano? Check out Potshot Boxing’s (PSB) latest boxing poll and vote.
