The last time Juan Francisco Estrada was in the ring he avenged a close majority decision loss he suffered to Srisaket Sor Rungvisai. In the rematch, Estrada used good, controlled aggression to outpoint Sor Rungvisai to capture the WBC and RING junior bantamweight titles. That win for Estrada was back in April of 2019. Now he has a brand-new challenge in front of him come August 24, 2019.
That challenger is the young undefeated Dewayne ‘Mr. Stop Running’ Beamon. Beamon is a Goldsboro, North Carolina native who has fast hands and is elusive. He has great footwork and is looking to take the next step in his professional boxing career as he tries to dethrone Estrada’s reign as WBC and RING junior bantamweight champion.
Both guys are great boxers who can counterpunch. Both fighters love to mix it up which is going to make for a great fight. Can Estrada deal with the blazing speed of Beamon? Or will Beamon’s speed prove to be too much for Estrada? You do not want to miss Estrada vs. Beamon coming up on August 24, 2019, on DAZN! Who you got Boxing World? Juan Francisco Estrada or Dewayne Beamon?
