Here is Potshot Boxing’s (PSB) Prediction for the upcoming heavyweight championship fight between “Dr. Steelhammer” Wladimir Klitschko and Kubrat Pulev.
November 15, 2014, will mark another routine performance in front of the O2 World boxing crowd in Altona, Hamburg, Germany for WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO and RING Heavyweight Champion “Dr. Steelhammer” Wladimir Klitschko. The Champion’s Huckelberry this time is Kubrat “The Cobra” Pulev.
Klitschko will be making his 18th straight title defense of the IBF and IBO heavyweight titles, 14th straight title defense of the WBO heavyweight title, and 8th straight title defense of the WBA (Super) heavyweight title.
Pulev is an undefeated heavyweight contender who will look to shock the world in Germany when he face off against the champion on November 15. I do not feel that Pulev’s undefeated record is that impressive enough to challenge Klitschko for the heavyweight throne.
I expect for Klitschko to do what he usually does and that is fight standing straight up and using his long left jab to create space between himself and Pulev; while trying to set up that signature right cross.
Pulev will need to work Klitschko and force him to throw more punches in hopes of tiring out the champion as Klitschko is known for gassing out if you can touch his body a little bit and make him exert a lot of energy.
In the end, this fight is in Germany where Klitschko is super comfortable so it should be another typical Wladimir Klitschko fight, and that is jab, jab, cross….jab, jab, cross….jab, jab, cross. Yep, I am predicting another routine win for the champion.
Prediction: “Dr. Steelhammer” Wladimir Klitschko by TKO victory
